Indonesia’s Q4 E-Commerce Calendar 2026

Indonesia’s Q4 E-Commerce Calendar 2026

The final quarter of the year brings together some of Indonesia’s biggest e-commerce shopping events. From double-day campaigns, such as 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12, to payday promotions, Black Friday, and Hari Belanja Online Nasional (Harbolnas), the period gives brands multiple opportunities to reach consumers during the year-end shopping season.

What makes Q4 particularly important is how these shopping moments build on one another. Campaign activity often starts before the headline date and continues into the following weeks, meaning brands need to look beyond individual sale days when planning promotions, inventory, and marketing resources. That being said, here are the key e-commerce shopping dates in Indonesia for October to December 2026, along with the context brands need to plan ahead.

October: 10.10 Starts the Quarter’s Shopping Season

10 October: 10.10 Campaign

The 10.10 campaign marks the first major double-day shopping event of the quarter, giving brands an opportunity to attract consumers with special offers, while setting the pace for the months ahead. It also provides an early opportunity to test promotional approaches before the more concentrated shopping activity in November and December.

Preparation for the next major campaign even begins before October ends. According to SIRCLO’s market observation, the broader 11.11 shopping window runs from 25 October to 12 November, extending well beyond the main campaign date. For brands, this longer window makes early coordination important, particularly when promotional offers, inventory, and marketing activities need to work across several sales channels.

November: 11.11 and Black Friday

11 November: 11.11 Campaign

The 11.11 campaign is another major fixture in Indonesia’s e-commerce calendar, with brands using the occasion to offer discounts, product bundles, and other promotions designed to attract deal-seeking consumers. As shopping activity extends across the wider campaign window, the opportunity is not limited to 11 November itself. Brands can also plan how their offers reach consumers before, during, and after the main date.

Later in the month, Black Friday falls on 27 November. While it is an established shopping event in global retail, its relevance in Indonesia varies by platform, product category, and target audience. It may be particularly relevant for fashion and lifestyle-led commerce, making it an additional thematic shopping moment for brands to consider alongside the more established double-date campaigns.

At the same time, preparations for December are already underway. Based on SIRCLO’s market observations, the broader 12.12 shopping window begins on 25 November and runs through 13 December 2026, overlapping with the end of November and much of December’s promotional activity.

December: Harbolnas Lead the Year-End Calendar

December brings the final stretch of Indonesia’s year-end shopping season, with Harbolnas, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve offering different reasons for consumers to shop. While Harbolnas centres on online shopping promotions, Christmas and New Year’s Eve shift attention towards seasonal purchases and year-end celebrations.

Harbolnas

As is an annual shopping event that brings e-commerce platforms, retailers, and brands together through nationwide online promotions, its scale reflects the importance of online shopping during Indonesia’s year-end season. According to the Ministry of Trade, Harbolnas generated Rp36.4 trillion in transactions in 2025, up 17% from Rp31.2 trillion in 2024.

Harbolnas centres on 12 December, with heightened shopping activity expected from 10–16 December, which is D-2 to D+4. The government is targeting transaction growth of 5–10% this year, while the programme is set to expand beyond physical goods to include services and digital offerings, such as accommodation and transport tickets.

For brands, this means planning promotions and inventory for the full seven-day period rather than focusing solely on 12 December. Offers, stock availability, and campaign communications should be coordinated to capture demand throughout the Harbolnas shopping period.

Making the Most of Indonesia’s Q4 E-Commerce Calendar

The key dates in Indonesia’s Q4 e-commerce calendar do not operate in isolation. With double-day campaigns, Harbolnas, and seasonal occasions shaping shopping activity throughout the quarter, brands need to consider how each event fits into their broader sales and marketing priorities.

A practical starting point is to map the calendar against business objectives, then work backwards to coordinate inventory, promotional mechanics and marketing assets. Brands should also check individual e-commerce platform schedules, as campaign windows and promotional terms may vary. Ultimately, a well-planned Q4 calendar helps brands make the most of Indonesia’s year-end shopping season, while building a stronger foundation for growth in the year ahead.
